Euratsfeld, with only 2000 inhabitants, sits quietly in the middle of the Austrian countryside. At the edge of the village, a plot is reserved for a new single-family home. This location has the inherent dilemma of a north-facing hill: in order to preserve unique views down the hill and at the same time allow all rooms to have sufficient daylight, a configuration of 3 boxes is proposed. These boxes gently follow the slope and are connected through a stepped corridor, which makes it possible to have a relaxed walk down the hill without leaving the house.
